here is the math:
making $150K/year?
5% cap since W2 income is stable.
your human capital = 150K/5% = $3M.
at 3%, your job is worth $5M.
That is before raise. But we are also ignoring retirement. So do not give it up. It is most people's most important asset holding.

做这个要乐在其中才好。不知MM喜欢不喜欢Gambling？Trader里有这个爱好的不少。 
可以在本专业里想想办法。比如如果能向现在的公司要个flexible schedule或part time，既可顾家，又没离开本行。这样可进可退，看看到底喜欢什么样的生活。一孔之见
