关于保险怎么买？

一直以来有个疑问，我看大家在讨论开销时，保险（home owner insurance）的开销似乎不是很大，经常看到一些人的SFH每月premium就40-50左右的样子，但是我这里怎么就要70-80呢？

我目前用的是Statefarm的，感觉客服挺不错的，而且我对比了allstate，nationwide一两家，SF收费还算低，不过我感觉是不是还能再低一点。（我目前还没有买伞险）

这个得看地方和房子情况，俺的房子的insurance都在$100左右，也想shopping around,找更便宜的insurance, 除了找不同的agent，还有一个办法就是把deduction加高。伞险is highly recommended for landlord,保额最好大概和你的assert 相当。

If you just buy Rental Insurance, the premium could be a little cheaper. Try to call up some independent insurance agent too and they may recommend you some non-famous insurance company to get cheaper rate.

Insurance premium is based on local. Have you tried Travelers? call through GEICO may give you some discount.
