请问一下：RENT TO OWN有什么风险

我记得以前有讨论过这个问题。房子在TEXAS。
我的租客问有没有可能RENT TO OWN.
房子成本20万不到，租金2000. 现在大概30万，2012年买的。
一般TERM 是什么？作为OWNER有什么要注意的，有什么风险。

On the other hand, I remember Texastrader mentioned before. Due to regulation changes lately (2009?) in Texas, rent to own is not that profitable anymore.

2007年，德州通过了新的有关rent to own的法律。

我的地产律师当时建议不要再做rent to own (longer than 180 days)，雷区太多。
