well and septic pretty much maintenance free, request a sewer inspection as part of your due diligence.

if its still a 2 inch well, expect to replace it soon, cost to drill a 4 inch well be about 3000-3500 for 80 ft. if already 4 inch well, cost of replacing well pump be about $500.

septic tanks should last about 25-30 years, replace cost for gravity feed system be about 3k, mount system about 8k.
