I met many Indians. In general, Indians came here as F1 students are much more approachable than those came here directly with H1B visa. Those who graduated from IIT (Indian Institutes of Technology), especially those from Bombay, Delhi and Madras campus, are super.
Those from western side of India like Bombay, are usually better educated and financially. The southern part, like Madras, are not bad either. Those from east or northeast, like Kolkata, are not easy to work with. Most of them are poorer.
Another thing, their culture don't respect ladies well, including their own ladies. For example, Pepsi's CEO, Indra Nooyi, was born in India. Many Indian men didn't give her enough credits. On the other hand, they gave too much credits to Vinod Khosla (co-founders of Sun Microsystems) and Raj Chetty (Professor of Economics, Harvard). Indra Nooyi is leading a huge company. Vinod Khosla is a general partner of the VC firm, KPCB. Raj Chetty is a professor.
