千五的房子便宜很多（如9百之类的）租给人签长约，然后前屋主跑路扔房子给银行。

而现买方得HONOR这个旧合约又不能涨租除非到期。。不是啥rent control的地方。但这样子现买方不就很亏本吗？

"前屋主跑路扔房子给银行" - if this means that the bank foreclosed the old owner, then the lease contract was cancelled automatically, but the tenant has the right to live in the house for 1 month in Texas. I thought that it was 3 months, but from my lawyer's letter to the tenant, it said one month. Not sure about other states.
